Hagerty's Response Division is expanding and looking for emergency management professionals to support clients in the immediate aftermath of disasters. We are seeking subject matter experts with federal, state, local, non-profit, and/or private sector backgrounds who would be able to deploy with short notice during the response phase of a disaster. Candidates trained and experienced in operations, logistics, planning, and mass care are highly desired but those with other emergency operations center (EOC)/emergency support function (ESF) skill sets are also encouraged to apply.
Our Response Cadre is composed of professionals who have been vetted and are ready to deploy to incidents like hurricanes, wildfires, and other natural and manmade events based on client requests. Successful candidates are flexible and adaptable in EOC and/or field environments and comfortable in client-facing environments. Those with transferable skill sets in law enforcement, military, fire service, public health, emergency medical services (EMS), and emergency management are encouraged to apply.
Location: This posting is for applicants interested in joining Hagerty's Response Cadre. In addition to becoming part of our Cadre and responding to future events, candidates will also be considered for current openings on response projects across the country.
What you would do:
Cadre members are called upon to deploy and support our clients when disaster strikes in communities across the country. These response professionals are often assigned to EOCs or field sites and backfill or augment staffing and serve as force multipliers on some of the most significant disaster events facing our nation.
