What You'll Do

The main duties of this position will be to operate a Puritan sewing machine, with foot pedal and width gauge to sew leather panels together to be used in the manufacturing of footballs. Sew half sections, full sections, and closings. Must be able to handle simple tools as well as communicate and take direction from others well.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Match and align panels using notches and numbering system.
• Operate Puritan sewing machine with foot pedal and width gauge.
• Cut off excess thread and trim inside seam.
• Stack and count sewn panels.
• Move transporter boxes from work table to floor.
• Maintain Puritan sewing machine with oil, thread, etc.
• Keep necessary clerical records and clean work area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

The qualified candidate will have one (1) year or less of factory experience. A high school diploma or GED will be required for this position.

What We'll Provide

SIGN-ON BONUS (MUST MEET QUALIFICATIONS AS STATED IN POLICY)

$200 Sign on Bonus after completion of probationary period (90 days) of employment

$300 Sign on Bonus after 6 months of employment

$500 Sign on Bonus after 1 year of employment

We offer a competitive wage and benefit package. Current starting pay is $14.57 per hour and this is an incentive based position. 1st shift hours of operation are Monday - Thursday 6:00 am - 3:00 pm; Friday 6:00 am - 12:00 pm with occasional overtime as needed.
