The Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of equipment projects by supporting not only the product team but engineering and manufacturing. Project management time will be spent reviewing and refining materials, labor, and equipment cost estimations prepared by the product team and executing within the budget and timeframe provided. Successful candidates will need to manage multiple projects, ensuring that they are completed within time and cost constraints. As working in a team is an integral part of their job, the Project Manager must have good oral and written communication skills.

When selecting candidates, we will be looking for the following essential skills, abilities, and experience:
• Post-secondary education in the mechanical engineering field (Mechanical Engineer \ Technologist)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and/or Solidworks
• Fluent in manufacturing, fabrication drawings and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
• SAP experience an asset
• Experience in Pulp and Paper industry an asset
• Above average time management skills
• Project execution responsibility from contract effectiveness to the end of warranty period
• Customer relationship, correspondence and meetings according the project communication plan
• Project team management, collaboration and leadership
• Organize regular team meetings for controlling/monitoring and re-directing the project execution
• Introduce company and project specific procedures, tools and templates to the project team and monitor their continuous use
• Experience in Commercial and Contract Management
• Regular Risk Reviews for the single-line project for risk identification, evaluation, mitigation planning and monitoring the execution of mitigation plans; regular risk reporting
• Managing execution cooperation between Capital and Service

Professional Experience/Education
• Technical College (HTL) in mechanical engineering or a related technical education or higher.
• Relevant working experience of minimum three years in leading project roles in machinery and plant engineering, mechanical engineering or related business.
• Knowledge in project management
• External or ANDRITZ internal PM training

Tasks
• Work with product / sales team for transition to Sales Order
• Kickoff meeting / definition of project key facts and needed parties
• Set up and coordination of the project team (org. chart) and incl. deputies
• First contact person for project specific questions for all involved parties (e.g. procurement, sub supplier, order execution RCG)
• Creation of sales order and project structure in ERP
• Organize order confirmation and updates
• Project time scheduling and creation of file storage structure
• Define project milestones + Follow up and regular meetings with all key contributor as needed
• Define sourcing strategy for make or buy and organize purchase requisitions for project
• Evaluate solution for unforeseen issues with PDMr / QMS / Engineering
• Handling of issues during project execution (deviations - NCR's, claims, delays of sub supplier, etc.)
• Monitoring of delivery times and actual running costs
• Create project post calculation and give feedback to product team and leadership.
