Job Description

Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. is seeking an experienced, full-time Project Accountant to join our growing New England Accounting group. Our team members are collaborative, detail oriented, and love to be challenged. When you join our team, you will work closely with our Project Managers to process complex and detailed contracts and invoices for a variety of clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process client invoices consistent with contract terms, client requirements and company procedures
  • Work with PMs to set up new contracts including billing terms and budgets
  • Maintain projects based on contracts and contract amendments
  • Have a general understanding of AEC project contracts
  • Produce routine management reports and other reports as requested
  • Provide additional analytical support regarding project status and performance as needed
Qualifications:
  • AEC industry experience is required
  • Associates degree in accounting or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
  • 3+ years of invoicing experience is preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a plus
  • Working knowledge of Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint is a plus

Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Read, write, and understand plans and direction given in the English language
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team members
