Overview

i3 is seeking Program Schedulers to develop the Endurance Unmanned Aircraft Systems (EUAS) and Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (SUAS) product offices Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and Schedule (IMS) to ensure that all activities, events, and milestones are logically linked and fully resourced, supported by analysis such as critical path, schedule risk, and variance analysis. This position supports the Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Product Office (PO) at Redstone Arsenal, AL and across the globe. The Planner/Scheduler works closely with the Functional Area (FA) Team Leads and Assistant Program Manager's (APM's), Product Manager and Deputy Product Manger to ensure alignment and integration of the IMS with other key program plans and schedules such as the Master Phasing Plan, Critical Path Analysis, High Level Flow (HLF), and detailed schedules below the IMS. This position is located in Huntsville, AL.
Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing the program's Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and Schedule (IMS) to ensure that all activities, events, and milestones are logically linked and fully resourced, supported by analysis such as critical path, schedule risk, and variance analysis.
  • The Planner/Scheduler works closely with the Functional Area (FA) Team Leads and Assistant Program Manager's (APM's), Product Manager and Deputy Product Manger to ensure alignment and integration of the IMS with other key program plans and schedules such as the Master Phasing Plan, Critical Path Analysis, High Level Flow (HLF), and detailed schedules below the IMS.
  • The Planner/Scheduler will assist in negotiating transitions between FAs regarding technical content and schedules as well as facilitating workaround planning as required.
  • The Planner/Scheduler will produce and brief task completion progress reports to the PM, PdM, internal team members, PM UAS leadership showing progress against the established IMS.
  • The Planner/Scheduler will lead the integration of supplier and partner plans and schedules into the IMS to ensure the whole team is operating to the same rhythm, priorities, and metrics to provide visibility and communicate potential issues to management and engineering.
  • The Planner/Scheduler will also serve as the product office manager necessary to facilitate cross-functional collaboration and cataloging customer deliverables. Duties will include developing and promulgating business rules within the product office. Assist in negotiating transitions between FAs regarding technical content and schedules as well as facilitating workaround planning as required.
  • Produce and brief task completion progress reports to the PM, PdM, internal team members, PM UAS leadership showing progress against the established IMS.
  • Lead the integration of supplier and partner plans and schedules into the IMS to ensure the whole team is operating to the same rhythm, priorities, and metrics to provide visibility and communicate potential issues to management and engineering.
  • Serve as the C2E manager necessary to facilitate cross-functional collaboration and cataloging customer deliverables. Duties will include developing and promulgating business rules with the C2E office.
Qualifications
  • BS/BA from accredited college or university with field of study appropriate to the field of expertise, acquisition, logistics, business, or management. MBA or graduate level equivalent preferred. Additional experience may substitute for degree.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience concentrated in functional responsibility area of the position to be filled.
  • Product Level Management Experience under an ACAT I or II program preferred.
  • Experience in related field of expertise at the program level, ideally in providing programmatic and/or systems engineering/integration support to major DoD acquisition activities.
  • Experience in the development, testing, fielding/training, and sustainment phases of system's life cycle.
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations, Contracts/Subcontracts terminology and business practices.
  • Experience administering various contract types (Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Cost Plus Incentive Fee, Firm Fixed Price).
  • Demonstrated experience working individually as well as organizing and facilitating working groups.
  • Must be able to prepare detailed written reports and briefings (using Microsoft PowerPoint) suitable for presentation to senior level military and corporate leadership, as well as present material orally.
  • Must have a strong understanding of Army Acquisition processes, Milestone Documentation, and program decision process.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to use Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Must have the ability to work in a teaming environment and have the personality to interface with numerous Government and contractor personnel in a rapid paced environment.

Travel:
  • May require travel up to 20%.
