The Production Support Specialist will provide support to end users on a variety of issues. The incumbent will identify, research, and resolve technical problems while responding to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support. The incumbent will document, track, and monitor the problems to ensure a timely resolution. The incumbent will also ensure all IT changes follow proper change management. The incumbent will install new software releases and system upgrades, evaluate and install patches, and resolve software related problems while monitoring systems to ensure uptime and data integrity. The incumbent will provide front-line production support of applications in a professional and courteous manner. The incumbent will document and test new applications. The incumbent will assist in maintaining policies, procedures, and programs for ensuring the security and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology. The incumbent will coordinate, test, and administer disaster recovery and resumption plans. The incumbent will implement data models, database designs, data access, and maintenance. The incumbent will perform tasks in the Software Development Lifecycle of custom applications and reports. The incumbent will perform security changes for applications, coordinate, test, and administer disaster recovery and resumption plans.
