Job Title: Product Specialist (W2 Only)

Location: Fully Remote

Duration: 12+ Months

Responsibilities:

Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or Education or similar discipline and 3+ years' experience supporting the life cycle of software products (development, testing, launch, training and/or support)

Responsibilities:
1. Partner with Product Manager to develop business and technology solutions to ensure products and services meet privacy and compliance requirements.
2. Create guidelines and playbooks for documenting and tracking global legal obligations, including privacy impact assessments and intake management, initial privacy reviews, and assistance with resulting privacy and data security controls.
3. Provide ongoing management, content development and oversight of the privacy training program (when needed)
4. Prepare documents, data flows, and other materials related to products/websites (new products, product enhancements, changes to workflows and new use cases)
5. Working closely with Product Manager and Business stakeholders to support the development of documentation and materials to ensure compliance with data privacy laws and policies.
6. Be flexible when handling directional changes and concurrently manage multiple large-scale programs.
7. Translating requirements into Data Privacy and Compliance implementation SaaS tools ex: OneTrust.

Must Have's:
1. Digital Marketing experience
2. An understanding of data protection, operational data governance, and privacy as it relates to consumer information; Familiarity with CCPA and GDPR laws & other evolving regulations
3. Ability to work in a collaborative manner to develop strong working relationships with the business and key stakeholders to facilitate data compliance while supporting them in improving data protection and governance practices.
4. Experience with privacy compliance frameworks, conducting privacy and security risk assessments and/or managing controls, business processes, testing and remediation
5. Stay abreast of relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, guidelines, and industry developments relating to data protection, privacy, security, and data governance. Provide analysis of impacts to key stakeholders.
6. Comfortable expressing a point of view and influencing change, as appropriate.
7. Confident working in a dynamic environment, partnering with teams to move through the unknown.
8. Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to dive into the business, data workflows, and technology
9. Comfort with ambiguity, multi-tasking, and independence.
10. Excellent written/verbal communication, presentation, drafting and negotiation skills
11. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
