The Product Manager/Marketer for construction equipment, and a member of the North American Commercial team, is in charge of commercial product management and developing product line business. This includes, and not limited to, strategic short and long range product development/planning, commercial revenue and margin development, and product marketing strategy. To accomplish this, this individual carries out cohesive product management and marketing plans that optimally reinforce the brand's objectives and position while positively impacting key market indicators such as share, profitability, and volume for the product line.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the entire product life cycle (cradle to grave); successful planning and implementation of: product launches, promotion, sales initiatives, internal/external communications, etc..
  • Develop product business strategy and product definitions to meet the constantly evolving landscape of customer, application, regulatory, and manufacturing influences, that are aligned with the strategic business plan.
  • Explore market information, industry data/trends, offering landscape, and channel distribution needs to drive expansion in messaging and understanding of core product offering and application.
  • Collaborate within cross functional teams to develop and implement product marketing strategies throughout the equipment portfolio.
  • Support product management with Voice of Customer perspective within application segmentation and product categories to maintain a frontline perspective of industry trends.
  • Build and interpret statistical analysis of key data (market, segments, conditions, customer profiles, and dealer performance) with executable insights for further application or investigations.
  • Communicate the plan throughout the corporate environment, influencing various leadership, departments and organizations to gain support for strategic product, marketing, and sales initiatives as the subject matter authority.
  • Run the successful marketing of assigned products by understanding our customers and their business, our competitors, the market dynamics and unmet needs.

The salary offered for this position will most likely fall between $101,000 and $155,000 annually. (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required (in engineering, business, platform development, or equivalent).
  • 5+ years or more of related product management or product marketing experience required.
  • 5+ years or more of consistent experience in segment analysis promoting analytical abilitiess.
