As a of Product Manager of API Management, you will work with your product management counterparts and leaders to understand upcoming capabilities and help to scope out the customer experience. In this role, you will manage the design, development, and ongoing iteration of Gap's API Management solution. The API Management product domain will enable features like API traffic management, authentication, authorization, monitoring, and analytics into easily configurable and automated capabilities which will be leveraged to simplify the work done by our enterprise development teams. The API Management domain will be critical in securely deploying, maintaining, and integrating APIs with applications both internally and externally to the organization.
You will collaborate with dependent product teams to ensure that the end-to-end implementation journey is thorough and thoughtful. You will write robust requirements, prioritize the backlog, and work closely with the engineering teams to deliver and test quality software.
The role requires a strong product mindset; combination of business savvy, customer centricity and technical knowledge. We are looking for product managers that are passionate about the customer's journey, while strive to understand the complexities of system integrations and operational impacts.
