Product Specialists support that vision by taking data driven insights and influencing end to end solutions. The Product Analyst, Product Management is the subject matter expert in the product development process and is critical in the build and maintenance of a product or products through a successful lifecycle. Supporting your product's brand and evangelizing value, in new modern product services and opportunity outcomes.

Food & Beverage/Supply Management, Softlines (Apparel, Footwear, Beauty), Entertainment (Toys, Games, Books), Technology, Home, Automotive Aftermarket, and Home Improvement.


Your Impact

Industry Expertise
• Continually research the current marketplace to track key market needs, opportunities and pain-points related to the competitive landscape to support product strategy recommendations.
• Identify and forecast industry and consumer trends, especially through behavior.

Product Strategy and Revenue Growth
• Supports product managers by tracking pipeline and lifecycle measures (Product Health) to help inform decision making.
• Looks for efficiencies in process, contributing to the financial success of the Product P&L for sustained and scalable growth.

Product Discovery and Roadmap Management
• Document product requirements, capabilities, and enhancements and supports product managers in the process.
• Engage with users of data to track any needs for process or data change.
• Actively learn and develop understanding of product fundamentals.
• Provide thoughtful enhancement recommendations specifically related to client value and market need.
• Assist in gathering of information pertaining to product requirements and enhancements.
• Prioritize backlog and execute against product roadmap to keep products relevant in the industry.
• Identify new product opportunities which enable revenue growth.

Product Development
• Documents and prioritize product requirements, translating the needs across clients into specs for product.
• Dives into the data and detail to ensure fast, accurate dissemination and processing of information.
• Work with implementation team on executing and maintaining product requirements.

Product Marketing
• Test potential deliverables for accuracy, ease of use, and value to clients.
• Develop proficiency in using and training others on the delivery tool.
• Support updating the go-to-market initiatives for your product and the product portfolio including pricing and packaging, rate card updates, target audience analysis, positioning, competitive set, and business application, collaborating closely with internal and cross-functional teams.
• Create and maintain content for client-ready collateral, and train internal partners on the features/benefits of new and existing products or enhancements

Creating Engaging Workplace
• Collaborate with all product teams and product stakeholders to provide excellent service in terms of information sharing, response to request, etc.
• Participate in team culture by engagement and development to strengthen performance and drive goals.
• Be an example for cross-functional relationships in a high EQ culture.

How you fit

• 2 - 5 years of product process/management experience, supporting new products, business plans and product requirements in areas such as market research/information, B2B or B2C Products, Retail Sector (merchant, buyer, product line management), Consumer Packaged Goods, Large Scale Insights including Brand Management, and Service Sectors.
• Bachelor of Arts/Science or above; Master's Degree desired.
• Strong product management experience working with data/information preferably in syndicated and/or custom research; Experience in building data/digital products; Experience working with consumer/longitudinal data a plus.
• Capabilities in Attributes/Hierarchies/Segmentation highly desired.
• Experience being part of high performing teams in a customer-centric, profit driven environment.
• Able to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.
• Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Skilled in translating client needs/priorities into product requirements; Understands product components and manages the process of development, deployment, and post-launch activity.
• Ability to represent the user experience of his/her products; Ability to conduct a product demonstration highlighting the most important applications of the data.
• Product experience working with data/information; Experience in building digital/software products; SaaS and Business Intelligence tool experience a plus
