What you will do:Employs overall quality and Six Sigma knowledge and concepts to work through initiatives, employing business process methodologies and analytics into organizational operations to accomplish business objectives, improve productivity and up-grade product quality at the lowest controllable costs. Contribute methodological competence.
- Identifies and assists in the implementation of sustainable business process improvements intended to meet margin and revenue requirements.
Serve as a dynamic change agent and lead strategic and customer focused business improvement projects using lean and Six Sigma tools. Utilize excellent and refined facilitation tools.
- Educate and integrate Six Sigma tools within the Emerging Technology organization via the application of the tools through problem solving.
Lead cross functional teams in order to deliver sustained improvement to critical project processes to help management achieve strategic goals and impact financial results. Work across functional and organizational boundaries to analyze and solve problems.
- Lead and coach individuals and teams to successfully solve problems using Six Sigma tools and methodologies. Results contribute to the overall revenue and margin requirements.
What you will need:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Business, or Related Field.
- Experience and Training is Six Sigma concepts and methodologies. (Certification Desired.)
- Project Management Experience Desired.
Skills, Experience & Abilities
- Experience leading projects across various business segments and/or leading a process improvement team. Strong aptitude and skills to collaborate and influence functional leaders to prioritize and execute selected business improvement projects.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely and to facilitate meetings
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; statistically literate and well equipped with Six Sigma quality concepts and tools
- Customer focused in defining quality and establishing priorities
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
