Job Description

The Global Performance Insights Manager possesses extensive knowledge of marketing analytics, measurement and strategic insight. They work cross-functionally and collaboratively with the US Brand marketing and commercial team, leading measurement, insight generation and recommendation development.

They will serve as the lead contact for brand executive teams, delivering insights and strategic guidance for campaign measurement, performance reporting, and measurement protocols. Skilled in data storytelling, insight & recommendation creation, they will lead both GM and contractor teams (multi-layer) to deliver PDMs vision of being a consumer centric source of competitive advantage in holistic marketing performance measurement.

- 1 with Buick/GMC

Key roles and responsibilities include:

  • Manage standardized marketing measurement for nominated brand (omni-channel/cross-tier/overall business reviews), with the goal of improving consumer experiences and increasing sales opportunities.
  • Develop media and brand strategies with the nominated brand Brand leadership by leveraging multidimensional marketing insights to shape and drive the strategy and its story.
  • Distill multiple marketing data sets and reports into actionable insights and recommendations, expert storyteller with strong commercial acumen
  • Lead reporting updates to CMO, provide US & Global POV in CEO update materials as needed (e.g. CMO scorecard, QBR, launch reporting, user journey/experience)
  • Link to common brand measurement approaches, maximizing dashboards and reporting for their nominated brand
  • Educate business partners on GM's media, site journey and other performance measurements, ensuring alignment of Key Performance Indicators, advising how campaign measurement can deliver better decisions.
  • Proactively work with brand leads and key stakeholders to help identify opportunities to improve conversion of key funnel activities, media creative, digital engagement and brand commercial/media strategy.
  • Lead Brand PDM learning agenda development across channels, partnering with fellow brand leads to deliver (i.e. CRM, media, and site)
  • Partner with research and creative agencies and other brands to support capabilities and initiatives
  • Initiate brand tagging, working with Martech on implementation and troubleshooting to ensure marketing efforts are measured accurately and appropriately
  • Develop and grow our PDM Leads and contractor capabilities

Additional Job Description

Demonstrated Experience:

  • 8+ years' experience with automotive analytics or marketing analytics
  • Experience in strategy and commercial business reporting highly advantageous
  • Deep understanding of marketing performance measures, strategic insights and optimization
  • Strong understanding of marketing disciplines (online/offline, creative, measurement, etc..)
  • Demonstrated thought-leadership in developing data-driven strategic and tactical recommendations
  • Strong presentation and problem-solving skills
  • A consumer-centric, results-driven mindset - with a portfolio of achievements to back it up
  • Demonstrated ability to work proactively and independently while also guiding strategy and collaborating with stakeholders to share ideas and solve problems
  • Highly organized and process-oriented
  • Easily able to manage and prioritize multiple high priority projects
  • Comfortable establishing and enforcing new standards and processes to ensure alignment
  • Marketing/sales/research background/experience is an added advantage for the incumbent
