Job Summary

You will get the opportunity to learn from our certified chefs and our experienced managers, develop new skills, and build lasting relationships with IU Dining staff. Above all, you'll be able to provide high quality, delicious food and a great service experience to our guests! We are looking for individuals who love working on a team, have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn, and a strong commitment to guest service! Job responsibilities will vary depending on the location at which you're working.

Department-Specific Responsibilities

  • Prepares fresh food from scratch.
  • Works with a variety of culinary equipment.
  • Stocks product as needed.
  • Operates a Micros register and maintains dining room sanitation and appearance.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

Required
  • General knowledge at the high school level.
SKILLS

Required
  • Ability and enthusiasm to work on a team.
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
  • Strong commitment to guest service.

Work Location

We will assign you to a location in the neighborhood of your choice based on current operational needs.

Advertised Salary

$12.00 per hour

Work Hours

Flexible work schedule.

Minimum of 10 hours per week, Monday - Sunday.

Position is capped at 29 hours per week.
