Responsibilities

Serve as the Business Manager for the recently awarded grant - "Psychological Perspectives on Divine Forgiveness."

Responsible for setting up and administering all awards made under the grant's Request for Proposal (RFP). Monitor the awards while maintaining regular contact with awardees and ensuring that they are meeting their stated goals in a timely manner.

Responsible for making all arrangements for the grant's launch meeting and the capstone conference.

Responsible for providing administrative assistance to the grant's Principal Investigator including, but not limited to, regular financial and progress reports.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and two years' experience; or a high school diploma/equivalent and experience equal to six years. (Note: post-high school education can substitute for experience at the equivalent rate.)

  • Experience in communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Experience in developing and implementing policies, procedures, goals, and objectives.
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word, or equivalent software.
  • Experience in identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
  • Experience in meeting project deadlines.
  • Experience in performing accurately in a detail oriented environment.
  • Experience in prioritizing and organizing work assignments.
Preferred
  • Experience with PeopleSoft
  • Experience with Sponsored Research

Anticipated Salary Range

Anticipated salary of $67,000

Pay Plan

This is an OPS/temporary Job

Soft Money Funded Position

This position is time-limited based on soft money funding, with renewal contingent upon available funds and the needs of the University.

Schedule

If not otherwise specified, schedule is M-F, 8-5.

Criminal Background Check

This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check. The background check will be conducted as authorized and in accordance with University Policy 4-OP-C-7-B11.
