Team Description

The Workplace Services (WPS) team is responsible for driving continuity in the employee experience across all Intuitive locations, globally, while recognizing local culture differences. WPS is responsible for maintaining a working environment that fosters an engaging, clean, safe and secure Intuitive experience and culture by providing services and tools that enhance employee productivity.

Primary Function of Position:

The role of MAC Manager is to assist the Occupancy Planning team with planning and implementation of relocations, logistics moves, furniture reconfigurations and IT systems. This role will have input into developing, implementing, decommissioning, and maintaining effective processes for the Move Adds Changes program. You will engage with cross-disciplinary staff to conceive, design, and develop programs, policies, and processes that enhance the employee experience. You will be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open, collaborative peer environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Receive and successfully schedule and execute the physical aspects of small to large-size move projects
  • Responsible for customer satisfaction on each assigned move projects and planning
  • Oversee MAC team including daily team meetings, assignment of daily work orders to MAC Coordinator and MAC Technician
  • Manages work orders/requests received in CMMS.
  • Severs as client single-point-of-contact for day to day moves, adds, and changes. Receives all requests for user moves and oversees scheduling, execution, and vendor management
  • Issues work order for approved projects to third party movers, receives and verifies invoices for payment
  • Maintain move documentation, maintains information in database system including furniture
  • Maintains soft seating inventory - common shared furniture
  • Assignment of workspaces to all new hires, contractors, temporary and interns
  • Update space database for all Sunnyvale buildings for employee locations, space types and floor plans.
  • Issue POs to vendors and approve invoices
  • Manage moves budget
  • Collaborate with Occupancy Planning team and Furniture Vendors to ensure all relocation and furniture guidelines are met.

Qualifications

Skills, Experience, Education, & Training:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent years of experience
  • Excellent computer skills in: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Smartsheets)
  • Preferred knowledge of AutoCad
  • Minimum 5 years of experience of move management experience at high level tech companies
  • Knowledge of cubicle systems - configuration, programs
  • 'Patients first' mindset. Desire to provide excellent customer service.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent business judgment and a practical, common-sense approach to getting things done.
  • Work well under pressure and within time constraint in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly effective communication skills - writing and speaking skills through written proposals, meeting facilitation, oral presentations,
  • Effectively and professionally work with people of various disciplines and levels within a corporate environment
