Basic Job Functions:
The role of Mold & Segment Mechanic includes providing mechanical maintenance assistance to the Caster area specifically relating to mold and segment equipment. This assistance should include but is not limited to lock out and tag out of equipment, equipment repairs, equipment inspections, equipment alignments, execution of preventative maintenance measures, and execution of overall improvements to the Casting Process and Caster Maintenance Department.
