Where you come in:

Responsible for set-up, troubleshooting and monitoring of equipment in Lab and Cleanroom. Support basic laboratory tasks, equipment qualification, data analysis, maintenance and calibration activities with record keeping.

What makes you successful

Perform a wide variety of engineering laboratory tasks.

• Make detailed observations while performing tasks.

• Perform routine testing, solution, and reagent preparation.

• Perform laboratory-related clerical duties including filing, recordkeeping, and entering data into computer database.

• Maintain laboratory equipment, glassware, and inventory levels of laboratory supplies.

• Maintain recordkeeping and documentation for testing and processes performed.

• Perform data analysis using JMP software with assistance.

• Perform limited troubleshooting for instruments and equipment within the lab.

• Follow laboratory protocols, manufacturing process instructions, and chemical safety guidelines.

• Train new line technicians on duties.

• This position assumes and performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Require 1 to 2 years' experience with equipment assembly and shop skills. Experience in an equipment maintenance position is preferred. Needs to be very familiar with MS Excel, Words, PowerPoint, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree (A. A.) in a technical field from an accredited collage or in equipment, process and/or electronics related curriculum
  • Manufacturing Operator or past equipment maintenance position

Education Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.

Exempt Salary Details:

The annual base salary range for this role is $38,000 to $63,400. Final compensation package will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, business needs and market demand.

Must be able to communicate effectively in English. Examples of English language proficiency may include (but are not limited to): ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspondence; ability to verbally communicate with leadership, employees, and auditors; ability to comprehend spoken language.

Physical Demands:

Employees in this position may be required to perform the following physical activities: standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods of time; frequent use of the hands, fingers, wrist, and greater arm to handle small materials, tools, boxes, and trays; lifting and carrying objects up to 50Ibs; occasional overhead reaches and lifts; occasional lifts and reaches below the knee; occasional pushing and pulling of materials and objects with moderate forces; occasional crouching/kneeling, twisting, and squatting movements.

Work Environment:

Employees may be exposed to the following environmental conditions while performing this job: work near moving parts, work with chemicals, outdoor weather conditions, exposure to intense light and/or intermittent light, fast-paced work, and elevated noise levels.
