This position will be based in Cortez, CO (hybrid work onsite and from home).

Hybrid Schedule: Our Cortez team has transitioned back to working in the office on a regular hybrid schedule. At present, most team members are expected in the office an average of three (3) days a week. Decisions regarding any changes to our hybrid schedule will be communicated as we continue to closely monitor COVID-19 with employee safety as our priority.

What you'll be doing:

The FP&A Manager will play a key role in supporting the company's financial goals by providing value-added financial planning, forecast, operational analysis and other ad-hoc to enhance decision making.

  • Lead the annual financial plan for the Osprey business
  • Perform monthly financial reviews with each department and business within the organization to investigate unusual variances
  • Work with all departments within the organization collaboratively to develop departmental financial plans and improve understanding of financial statements
  • Review financial results for each department and product lines
  • Develop and execute consolidated financial key performance
  • Investigate, analyze and commentate on KPI's and variances or trends
  • Develop reporting package for OGSM
  • Assist Sr. Director, Finance in preparation and delivery of business presentations
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly business commentary for corporate finance, such as P&L variance
  • Identify and define opportunities for business process improvements


Skills needed to be successful in this role:
  • Ability to work well with a team and organization
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
  • Self-motivated work ethic


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting from an accredited university
  • Experience working in matrixed, publicly traded company
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills, especially reports and databases
  • Proficient project management and multitasking skills
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree
  • Outdoor industry experience


In Colorado and New York, the standard base pay range for this role is Minimum: $95,625; Maximum: $186,110. This base pay range is specific to Colorado and New York City and may not be applicable to other locations. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skill level, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
