Manager, Consumer ExperiencePosition Summary

Position Summary:

The Manager of Consumer Experience will be accountable for developing & executing the Brand campaigns to achieve Marketing & Business goals. Responsible for how assigned Brands show up in the world across all consumer touchpoints inclusive of social content, consumer promotions, influencers, public relations, and commerce marketing in close relationship with Brand Marketing. This individual will work closely with internal cross-functional partners from respective teams, inclusive of Brand Marketing, CEI, Corporate Affairs, Sales/Customer Marketing and assigned business units/brands. This position reports to the CE (Consumer Engagement) Sr. Director as part of the CEI (Consumer Engagement & Insights) team.

Ways You Will Make a Difference:

  • Integrated Brand Experience Campaigns Planning & Activation
    • Recommends clear objectives for brand strategies & campaigns with a vision for short & long-term success
    • Executes brand communications across Brands with support of internal & external agency partners across Social, Trade/Consumer PR, Influences, Digital, Commerce, & Media
    • Familiar with test & learn opportunities across comms disciplines to find new solutions for scale & impact
  • Brand Stewardship
    • Ensures brand communications are activating in accordance to the brand framework set forth from Brand Marketing
    • Reviews customer marketing creative & comms to ensure Brand Framework compliance
    • Ensures marketing comms & adaptions are on strategy & consistent in market and meet marketing KPIs
  • Financial
    • Manages any key Agency fees/SOWs
    • Aligns on budget priority in partnership with brand
  • Assigned Special Projects on Marketing Team (i.e. brand planning process lead) and/or serve as lead Subject Matter Expert for select marketing disciplines agnostic of brand (e.g. Public Relations/Influencers. Shopper Marketing, Multi-cultural)

Experiences That Will Support Your Success
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or related field is required; master's degree is preferred
  • 5-7 years of experience in marketing or general brand management across mid-size/large companies (brand marketing, customer marketing, social/digital, PR, influencer); 1-2 years in-house experience preferred
  • Proven success in executing a comprehensive marketing plan that is integrated across multiple consumer touch points
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven experience and results thinking/acting strategically to direct marketing programs
  • Experience in managing agency partners
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a strong sense of urgency
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Curious marketer able to think outside of traditional marketing disciplines to build brands
  • Demonstrated people development skills and experience in driving a culture of performance
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), Microsoft Outlook, the Internet, social media sites and working knowledge of reporting/monitoring tools and software (e.g. Spinklr, Meltwater, Cision, Netbase)
