Primary Responsibilities

Pillsbury's Austin office seeks a Legal Secretary to provide high-level, administrative support to attorneys in the Litigation Practice Section. Attorneys focus on active, complex litigation matters including commercial, insurance, and technology.

Candidate will effectively support attorneys in preparing for depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and trials. Strong technical skills needed to prepare and edit legal documents and handle filings with proficiency. Excellent organizational skills necessary to efficiently manage files, calendars, and travel. Top-notch communication skills, poise, and professionalism vital for interaction with clients and various levels of legal staff. Keen eye for detail is essential. Seeking a proactive, resourceful legal secretary to help identify potential issues and ensure the litigation team is well-prepared to provide unmatched client service. Ideal candidate will be a contributing team member who can manage multiple projects and priorities.

Qualifications

Successful candidate will have 3-5 years of legal secretarial experience in a large law firm setting with a solid understanding of the litigation process. Advanced-level computer skills required including proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat. Knowledge in NetDocs, Intapp Time, and Chrome River a plus. Bachelor's degree preferred. Bilingual skills a plus.
