REPORTS TO: Talent Acquisition Manager

SUPERVISES: Recruiters and Recruiting Associates

AUTHORITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Direct and support recruiting efforts.
  • Build strong relationships with the hiring managers and operations team.
  • Conduct a full and detailed job/manning meeting with hiring managers where required.
  • Design and implement effective recruitment campaigns in liaison with the
Talent Acquisition Manager and recruiting team.
  • Advertise vacancies via internal and external channels - assessing various
recruitment methods and marketing venues.
  • Use social media and Workday to advertise vacancies, and attract candidates
and build relationships.
  • Headhunting - identifying and approaching suitable candidates who may
already be in the industry.
  • Using Workday to develop a talent pool of candidates for future requirements
to match candidates to job profiles.
  • Brief candidates regarding the responsibilities, salary, and benefits of the
vacancy, acting as a liaison for the hiring managers.
  • Receive and review applications, manage interviews and evaluations, and inform candidates of the outcome of their interviews.
  • Analyze management information to identify trends and ensure the most appropriate routes to market are being used effectively.
  • Develop a good understanding of the work culture and environment.
  • Liaising with external suppliers where required.
  • Monitor recruiting and testing processes for all trades to ensure timely processing of all requisitions.
  • Identify and eliminate barriers and stagnation to hiring processes.
  • Assist with reporting on the status of new hires.
  • Assist Talent Acquisition Manager in communication within the department.
  • Review and approval of interview questions and evaluations used for positions.
  • Direct team participation injob fairs to attract experienced candidates.
  • Develop effective working relationships, and ensure recruiters follow the procedure with hiring managers.
  • Manage assigned requisitions and candidates in HRIS System, and assure all Recruiters are doing the same.
  • Ensure accurate applicant databases are being maintained.

QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE:
  • 2-5 years experience in high-volume recruiting.
  • Bachelor's Degree in HR is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Affirmative Action Plan guidelines and adherence preferred.
  • Must be self-directed, able to multi-task, and independently prioritize.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to utilize multiple recruiting resources, including the internet, agencies, job fairs, advertisement, etc.
  • The candidate should be proficient in MS Office, HRIS Systems, and the Internet.
  • Must maintain a high level of confidentiality.

TOOLS: None

DIRECTION EXERCISED: Pre-qualify external, and possibly internal applicants based on job description requirements for the applied position and make recommendations to hiring managers.

DISCRETION EXERCISED: None

LIAISE WITH: All departments, external candidates, contractor agencies, and area organizations
