Eurofins Environment Testing is seeking Laboratory Technicians in Altamonte Springs, Florida.
Position Summary: The Laboratory Technician is responsible for various support tasks throughout the laboratory assigned on an as-needed basis. Sample preparation, glassware cleaning, and sample disposal are typical functions. The ideal candidate shall be a detail-oriented team-player and able to multi-task. Candidate should also have excellent communication and organizational skills.
Key Position Functions:
• Extract/Digest environmental samples with organic solvent or Acid
• Operate pipettors, balances, and/or graduated cylinders to measure samples volumes and weights
• Prepare standards
• Maintain scientific logbooks
• Follow all Eurofins Standard Operating Procedures
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
• AA, AS, or BS in science or related field
• Basic laboratory experience preferred but not required
Position is full-time, Tuesday - Saturday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm, with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Altamonte Springs, FLare encouraged to apply.
