Jr. Property Tax Accountant

ARI is currently hiring a Jr. Property Tax Accountant, based out of our Mt. Laurel, NJ headquarters. This is a great opportunity for a recent college grad, or someone with up to 2 years of Accounting experience! Primary responsibilities will be focused on paying bills for specific states and filing refunds. This role is currently working REMOTELY, however will need to be in our Mt. Laurel, NJ headquarters once/week.

Principal Purpose of Position:

• Prepares annual tax renditions.
• Reviews assessed values and files protests where required.
• Maintains property tax records and files.
• Researches tax issues for both internal and external customers.
• Processes property tax bills for payment and billing.
• Responds to billing inquiries.
• Reconciles general ledger sub account.
• Special projects as required.

Education and/or Training:

• Bachelor's degree OR 2 years of accounting experience required.

Relevant Work Experience:

• Must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, and advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Intermediate accounting skills required.
• Must be able to work in both a team environment and independently.
• Must have solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of property tax concepts and practices related to various jurisdictions is a plus!
