RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities:

  • Provides technical support and training when applicable
  • Performs system checkout and assist in system startup
  • Completes and submits electronic reports covering all aspects of each assignment and activity
  • Test and verify system readings ensuring optimal system operation
  • Install Automatic Temperature Control Systems
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required.
  • Journeyman Electrician's License
  • Minimum 5 years as an electrician or 5 years working with Fire Alarm systems, or any other low voltage control work, or HVAC background (preferably in a commercial/retail environment) highly desired.
  • Experience with contract documents (contract drawings, subcontracts, contract addendum, specifications, and change orders).
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
  • Experience with computerized electrical circuits and systems as they relate to HVAC controls (electronic, pneumatic, and digital direct)
  • Strong background in air and hydronic systems with knowledge of chillers, rack systems and boiler operations
  • Bilingual- Spanish
Physical Requirements:
  • Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps and poles.
  • Carrying and lifting.
  • Climbing ladders for long periods of time
  • Adjusting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions.

BGIS is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. BGIS has different pay ranges for different work locations within the United States which allows us to pay team members competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate's primary work location.

The salary range for this non-exempt position in the US is $25-$32

A candidate's salary offer is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, education, certifications, licenses, and location.
