Position Summary:
As IT Manager for Supply Chain and Operations, you will be a key member to interact with key Supply Chain and Operations business team to develop and execute world class category strategies in alignment with key stake holders' business needs.
The ideal candidate will be a self-driven, functional, and technical leader in driving strategy, goals, and consistency across multiple projects within Supply Chain areas. He/She will have a proven background in leading large-scale projects, vendor engagements, metrics creation, problem solving and cross functional leadership. Collaborates well with other leaders at the site as well as with operational leaders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Lead & mentor an IT team who will be supporting manufacturing, operations, and procurement.
• Work with manufacturing, procurement, operations key stakeholders to define scope of projects, and seek organizational alignment
• Develop and manage project schedules and report and resolve project issues
• Manage completion of requirements and design documentation
• Enforce internal software development procedures that complies with medical regulations
• Work with leaders cross functional to align on projects and deliverables.

Required Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 Years of experience managing development projects in the areas of Supply Chain, MRP, Procurement, Demand Planning.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, agile, and collaborative environment
• Experience working with ERP applications preferable Oracle ERP and Procurement applications like Coupa.
• Knowledge of Manufacturing, Forecast and Demand Planning Process.
• Work closely with Project management team for building project timelines, monitor and deliver.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge on Procurement and Contract Manufacturing Process.
• Experience working in medical device and Regulated Environments
• Experience working in SOX controlled environments

Functional Description

Provides leadership for those involved in the development, design and optimization of one or more information technology and systems functions supporting company business processes and technical information systems platforms. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, analysis, selection and modification of enterprise systems, application software, installation of network hardware/software and database management. Provides direction for the effort required to protect the company's data, tools and information systems. Ensures infrastructure architecture standards maximize efficiency and support platform compatibility. Usually requires subject matter knowledge of user group for practical application of system characteristics. Coordinates delivery of services to user groups and ensures IT service is uninterrupted. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

  • Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and knowledge of company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
  • Develops a proficiency of the company's business / market in order to inform decisions.

  • Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals.
  • Provides guidance to team members / supporting employees using established company policies.
  • Frequently interacts with subordinate supervisors, customers, and/or functional peer group managers, normally involving matters between functional areas, other company divisions or units, or customers and the company.

Judgement

  • Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors.
  • Follows processes and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
  • Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results will add to costs and may impact the short-term goals of the organization.

Management

  • Manages the coordination of department/functional activities with responsibility for results, methods and staffing.
  • In some instances may be responsible for a functional area or contracted / outsourced employees or matrixed reports.
  • People management responsibilities include hiring / terminations, performance reviews, career development coaching and compensation decisions.

Experience and Education

  • Typically requires a Bachelors degree with 8-12 years of industry experience.
  • 2-5 years of previous management or lead experience.
