SUMMARY

Maintain proper working order/condition or all data processing equipment and technologies through preventative maintenance and review when needed. Coordinates technology integration, support, and instruction with DC personnel by way of corporate contacts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Performs preventative maintenance as scheduled on label printers, paper printers, on-line ship stations, stand-alone computers, & impact monitoring systems.

Performs daily tape back-ups.

Prepares monthly contingency efforts (labels and files).

Point of contact for facility AS400 and network issues.

Troubleshoots issues.

Collaborates with corporate IT contacts on instructional support and integration.

Performs upgrades and repairs as necessary.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); six months to one year-related experience and/or training within the IT function; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

SKILLS REQUIRED

Knowledge of local area networks and network devices. Capable of performing preventive maintenance referencing hardware.
