Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Reviews production schedules and related information and confers with department supervisors to determine material requirements to identify overdue materials and to track material
• Requisitions material and establishes sequential delivery dates to departments, according to job order priorities and material availability
• Examines material delivered to production departments to verify conformance to specifications
• Arrange in-plant transfer of materials to meet production schedules
• Computes amount of material required to complete job orders
• Compiles and maintains manual or computerized records such as material inventory, in-process production reports, and status and location of materials
• Moves or transports materials from one department to another
• Arranges for repair and assembly of material or part
• Monitors and controls movement of material and parts in departments and between departments as necessary to maintain efficient flow of product to meet production and shipping schedules.

• Degree in Business, Science or Engineering, Finance or Accounting or related field
• Two+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement/purchasing, expediting and/or delivery assurance.
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Proficiency in material and submittal tracking and reporting software highly desirable
• Excellent computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• The ability to multi- task is necessary to be able to support multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to perform well in a team environment is critical.
