A Global Credit Union company is seeking a IAM Analyst - Remote

Role Description

Serves as a senior level IAM Portfolio Analyst. Compiles, researches, analyzes, and documents data, requirements, workflow/ processes, functionality and or controls related to Identity & Access Management. Develops and evaluates information, and prepares recommendations based on analysis for use in decision-making. Provides leadership for IAM strategic transformational and compliance projects or programs. Acts as a liaison or subject matter expert to business and technical stakeholders transitioning to new IAM transformation and compliances processes.

Provides advanced levels of analysis and leadership across business stakeholders, technical stakeholders and other analysts supporting transformational initiatives as well as existing operational analysis for the Identity & Access Management (IAM) services. Specific analysis efforts include but are not limited to the following:

  • Assist stakeholders in understanding IAM capabilities and functions.
  • Facilitate translation of business and operational needs from Member and Workforce channels and related stakeholders to improve existing capabilities and define new IAM transformational capabilities.
  • Support business and technical stakeholders in transitioning to new IAM capabilities and services across various IAM domains such as Access Management, Identity Lifecycle Management and Privileged Access Management.
  • Ensure IAM governance structures adhere to defined policies and standards. Ensuring that IAM core capabilities, IAM operations, business stakeholder usage and application integrations follow the governance structures.
  • Maintain a continuous and strong security posture across all business and ISD IAM stakeholders via ongoing, proactive reviews of account access and authorization, and designing short- and long-term improvements to ensure violations are remediated.
  • Analyze information, requirements, data, work quality, work methods, processes, service specific practices, standards and metrics/statistics (Advanced analysis).
  • Interpret results of analysis; present recommendations, including alternatives and implications (Considerable impact).
  • Collaborate with other business units to analyze and improve processing procedures and resolve problems (Considerable impact).
  • Analyze changes in policies, procedures and products; determine the impact on the group functions (Advanced analysis).
  • Identify and analyze opportunities for new and/or improved processes, data, or technology; provide clear picture of possible outcomes (Advanced analysis).
  • Ensure clear, concise and effective communication of material (Leadership).
  • Work with peers, business units and/or project teams, and vendors to ensure business needs are fully communicated, documented, and satisfied (Leadership assistance).
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, and establish processes and methodologies for preventative mitigations (Advanced analysis).
  • Compile, review and prepare data to be used by analysts and management in the analysis of operations, services and products (Complex/difficult analysis).
  • Conduct benchmarking, trend analysis and other input to drive continuous improvement and elevate service performance (Considerable impact).
  • Analyze information to produce analytically-driven inferences and hypotheses to generate actionable recommendations (Complex analysis).
  • Solve business problems by defining the problem, interviewing stakeholders, identifying and evaluating alternatives, and presenting findings (Complex/difficult analysis).
  • Provide input into best practices for the respective area (Leadership assistance).
  • Ensure compliance with company's ISD standards and best practices.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Skills & Requirements
  • 5+ years working in an IAM type role
  • experience onboarding applications to new IAM governance tools (this will be their main job duty at NFCU)
  • someone who understands how IAM is used for applications for access (PAM type understanding)
  • someone who can talk to the business to put together a plan for how each application is using IAM and how they will move them into the new systems for provisioning and deprovisioning
  • enterprise environment experience
  • financial industry big plus
  • 5+ years of experience working with transformational initiatives in an IT environment
  • 5+ years of experience working in an Identity and Access Management function, preferably in a financial service organization
  • Desired - Specific experience supporting the transition of business and operational applications to new IAM governance processes
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science or other related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training or experience
  • Advanced skill maintaining accuracy with attention to detail and meeting deadlines
  • Extensive experience in IT solution creation and delivery with increased business intelligence
  • Expert research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced organizational, planning and time management skills
  • Advanced skill communicating with all levels within an organization
  • Experience working and participating in cross-functional, multi-dimensional teams and projects
  • Advanced skill presenting findings, conclusions, alternatives and information clearly and concisely
  • Effective relationship building, negotiation and facilitation skills
  • Experience in leading, guiding & mentoring others
  • Advanced skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisions
  • Expert verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced skill analyzing and organizing problems or work processes for technical solutions
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Significant experience in translating business requirements into technical solutions
