Summary (Scope of the Job)

The HR Coordinator assesses and anticipates human resources related needs required to support business unit needs while on a project. Develop integrated solutions collaborating with the Human Resources Business Partner and across the HR function to deliver value-added service to business unit leadership that furthers business objectives. This position is on call and deploys to remote sites to respond to client needs. The HR Coordinator will serve as a point of contact for day-to-day HR needs at their respective location. Locations may vary and deployments can be greater than 4 weeks in length (including weekends) if business needs dictate.

Major Responsibilities

  • Support Talent Acquisition Team & HR by leading new employee onsite onboarding and orientation.
  • Process I9's and send all paperwork to HR Holdings & Payroll to ensure employees are paid accurately and timely.
  • Activate and issue per diem cards, uniform and assist with equipment set up and distribution as need.
  • Process background paperwork and keep compliance records in accordance with applicable contracts/laws
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education
  • Human Resources, Labor Relations, or related degree.
  • Professional accreditation preferred.

Experience
  • Minimum 1 years in a Human Resources or Administrative role

  • Knowledge and understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Ability to travel for extended periods of time as needed. (4 week+ deployments to remote locations)
  • Ability to work holidays
  • Experience with maintaining confidential documents is a plus
