Whether you are a seasoned Veterinary Assistant or a Technician in training, we want you to use the knowledge that you've invested your time and talent in. The skills that will be utilized include, but are not limited to:

General Practice Veterinary Assistant Duties:

  • Assist doctor and other hospital staff by care and cleaning of patients
  • Animal handling and restraint
  • Client communication for patient updates
  • Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging
  • Must be a team player willing to learn new techniques and treatments and to accept change.
  • Technician training as needed
  • Dependable attendance is required
  • Any allergies to animals must be controllable through medication
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds
  • This position requires the ability to walk, bend, stand and reach constantly during a minimum 8hr day.
  • Providing compassionate care for patients

Compensation: $17 - 23 / hour based on skill set, experience, and licensure status
