At Eide Bailly, our Fraud & Forensic Advisory practice trusts that we can find the truth for our clients. Our practice provides practical and effective solutions through expertise in financial investigations, quantifying damages, and assisting with insurance claims for recovery purposes. We recognize the widespread need for forensic accounting services and specialists with diverse backgrounds, and because of that, our professionals offer specialized services tailored to meet an individual's or organizations urgent needs.

Typical Day in the Life

A typical day as a Forensic Accounting Senior Associate (full-time, remote eligible) might include the following:

  • Demonstrating your expertise in investigative accounting and consulting skills by assisting clients with insurance recovery claims, financial concerns, involved in financial disputes or in litigation.
  • Reviewing and analyzing various financial and industry information for the purpose of quantifying losses due to a damaging event.
  • Coordinating with a team of forensic accountants to evaluate claims and calculations.
  • Preparing detailed reports for clients and other parties for internal use, insurance recovery, civil and/or criminal litigation.
  • Proactively assist organizations in identifying opportunities to improve anti-fraud internal controls.
  • Adapting to the ever-evolving field of forensic accounting.
Qualifications for the Forensic Accounting Senior Associate position include:
  • You have 3-5 years of experience in forensic accounting, financial investigations, quantifying economic damages for insurance claim and/or litigation purposes.
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
  • Preferred candidates will have credentials such as CPA, CFE, CFF, ASA, ABV, or AVA.
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • You have strong MS Office (specifically Excel and Word) skills
  • Preferred candidates will have experience with IDEA, ScanWriter, and Alteryx
  • You hold yourself to the highest professional standards and maintain strict client confidentiality.
  • You take pride in helping others and are ready to build a strong leadership team of high-performing individuals.
