SUMMARY

The Financial Systems Order-to-Cash Manager is a systems expert and project manager in the Order-to-Cash end-to-end process cycle with finance or accounting experience in a consultative or functional role. The primary objective of this role is to lead projects that implement, enhance, or support financial systems in the order-to-cash process cycle.

An individual in this role has experience working with cross functional technical and software engineering teams and has the technical experience and process improvement knowledge necessary to independently solve complex financial process problems by accurately identifying root causes and implementing leading practice solutions.

This is a hands-on role that is responsible for configuration changes and solution design and testing. The manager will be accountable for the results of assigned projects and workstreams that focus on delivering process redesign and automation initiatives.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

  • Blackline, Sales Audit, and related system management, including not limited to configuration, testing, report development, data conversion, user support, and integrations
  • Maintain a close relationship with IT technology/engineering teams, ensuring collaboration and partnership during process improvement activities
  • Thoroughly understand business processes to ensure delivery of desired outcomes
  • Lead process improvement projects targeting user experience, efficiency, and automation. Demonstrate personal ownership of the configuration changes and projects and follow through to reach targeted results
  • Measure and drive improvements to the key financial systems metrics
  • Maintain a close relationship with IT technology and IT engineering teams, ensuring collaboration and partnership during process improvement activities
  • Identify improvement opportunities and create end-to-end process recommendations
  • Drive informed decisions with business partners by providing sound technical and operational process guidance
  • Ensure organization-wide understanding and implementation of financial systems and processes, directly assisting end-users as needed
  • Build organizational capability through continuous improvement activities; originate action to improve existing conditions and processes
  • Demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence, including the ability to manage conflict effectively
  • Identify, track, report and present meaningful performance or progress metrics
  • Ability to lead and interact with global teams

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited program in Accounting, Finance, or Computer Science
  • Experience with high-volume reconciliations or sales audit functions
  • 10 + years of experience in financial transformation roles
  • 3+ years of project management experience
  • Experience effectively gathering and communicating requirements to software engineering teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Blackline administration experience
  • Python, VBA, BI Analytics or RPA development experience
  • MBA or CPA
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification

  • Detail oriented, organized critical thinker with strong analytical skills
  • Proficient ability to influence others regarding policies and procedures including the ability to explore alternatives to reach amicable outcomes accepted by all parties
  • Proficient ability to utilize standard desktop software such as Microsoft Office
  • Consistently demonstrates a commitment to GameStop policies and procedures, including but not limited to, attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and ethical responsibilities
