Facility Manager

The Facility Manager is responsible for supporting the startup and management of the newest facility within the Advanced Surface Technologies segment of Enpro Industries. This role provides the opportunity to build a new facility at a new location, in one of our high growth businesses. You will be working with internal and external parties to develop various facility construction and maintenance programs to meet corporate's goals. This includes building (hiring) and managing the facility/maintenance department to achieve business goals while also infusing the Enpro values and culture.

Responsibilities

  • Work with internal team members and external consultants and engineers to implement the facility start-up process and timeline. Coordinate site activities, installation sequence, scope of work, etc.
  • Ensure the on-time completion of facility build up within approved budget.
  • Oversee the build-out and tool installation and start up process.
  • Ensure all regulatory permits are obtained in a timely manner.
  • Lead site safety for Enpro and its subcontractors; develop a site safety plan.
  • Hold self and team accountable to safety culture, driving a safe workplace and environment.
  • Engage in customer's facility qualification program once the facility build up is completed.
  • Develop and manage a high performing facility maintenance department from establishing operating procedures to performing regular audits.
  • Managing services such as security, hazardous waste disposal, and parking lot.
  • Specialized skillset including ability to design, install, troubleshoot, repair, maintain and understand capacities for:
  • AWN treatment
  • DIW
  • Mechanical Equipment
  • HVAC
  • Wet bench tools
  • Process piping
  • Process utilities (CDA, N2, process vacuum)
  • Chemical waste treatment and handling
  • Cleanrooms
  • Lift stations & bulk chemical distribution systems

Experience & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field or 15 years' experience in a similar role. Specialization in mechanical, construction or civil engineering preferred.
  • Domestic and international working experience is preferred.
  • Experience working in an environment with hazardous chemicals.
  • A strong leader that will be able to work with internal and external parties.
  • Excellent communication, decision-making, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Ability to speak Mandarin is a plus.
  • Must be open to travel internationally including spending time in Taiwan.
