The DEI Executive Project Assistant will support the VP of Diversity, Equity & Inclusiveness. Provide Central Office administrative support to the Diversity, Equity & Inclusiveness department. The position involves a variety of job tasks requiring a high level of organization, independent problem-solving, and accuracy for several simultaneous projects under often competing priorities and timelines.

Pay Range & Benefits:

$50,000 - $57,000/year

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Maintain Outlook schedule and e-mail for VP of Diversity, Equity & Inclusiveness
  • Provide administrative support for Diversity, Equity & Inclusiveness programs and projects:
    • Support Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and Diversity Roundtables (e.g., reserving space, maintaining RELIAS listings, sending meeting reminders, etc.)
    • Coordinate Diversity, Equity & Inclusiveness custom training/professional development requests
    • Assist in maintaining the Diversity, Equity & Inclusiveness InSite page
    • Coordinate Kaleidoscope Conversations (facilitated group discussions)
    • Support social networking efforts
    • Coordinate community outreach efforts
    • Support ASL interpreter requests management
    • Perform other program and project support tasks, as assigned
  • Produce, submit, and organize letters, memoranda, reports, meeting agendas, and other departmental documents
  • Maintain departmental memberships in Diversity, Equity & Inclusiveness organizations
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other administrative staff throughout the organization
  • Prepare travel and conference requisitions
  • Coordinate departmental interviews
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail.
  • Copy/scan/fax information
  • Order office supplies and equipment; coordinate basic office maintenance and janitorial needs
  • Contribute to an organizational culture of respect, hope, and personal accountability regarding Diversity, Equity & Inclusiveness
  • Promote cultural proficiency in all aspects of the organization's functions and programming
  • Maintain a trauma informed environment of well-being
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements & Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor-level degree relevant to DEI, mental health, non-profit, communications, project management, or relevant field required

Experience:
  • Three or more years' experience in C-Level administrative support, or related work.
  • Prior experience related to DEI, non-profit, social work or social justice work preferred.
  • Prior mental health experience not required.
