Description: Executive Assistant (Fluent in Mandarin)
Description:
Company is a fast-growing, ISO registered contract manufacturer with factories located in the Far East. Customer base includes OEM's in the automotive, power tool, and consumer products industries primarily located in the U.S., Mexico and Canada.
We are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant with overseas communications experience, to work with our President, Director of Purchasing and Sales Director.
Provide a wide range of diversified administrative support services to Senior Management.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Working with Fortune 500 companies in the Automotive. Power Tool, Automotive and Medical Fields Manage daily communications with overseas vendors - primarily in Taiwan and China.
Assist in the procurement of materials and services from foreign vendors.
Requirements:
- Expert knowledge of MS Office Suites software, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and experience with ERP systems and EDI.
- Ability to work in a professional, ethical, confidential and trustworthy manner with sensitive and confidential information.
- Foreign language (Mandarin) capabilities are an asset.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision, as well as in a team environment.
- 10 years of administrative experience in a corporate environment.
- Experience in overseas communications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must be a self-starter, able to work independently and to thrive in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must be able to coordinate and prioritize diverse activities to meet critical deadlines.
- Experience in communications, advertising, or public/media relations preferred.
