EverCommerce is seeking a Director of Finance to join our growing Finance team. Reporting to the SVP of Finance, you will be responsible for managing the finance operations for a portfolio of 5-7 brands.

Where:
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working across time zones and locations. This role can be based anywhere in the United States; if you are close to one of our offices, you can work in-office, or work 100% remotely.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversight and management of month end financial reporting and variance analysis
  • Full ownership of budgeting and planning processes within assigned subsidiaries, including monthly rolling forecast updates and annual plan
  • Lead monthly financial reviews with presidents and other key leadership within the subsidiary
  • Help drive collection and maturation of operational metrics and KPIs in conjunction with the business analytics team
  • Operational support, including various projects and ad hoc analysis, including contract process cleanup, new product/investment models, resource planning, etc
  • Supporting EverCommerce treasury, financing and tax functions as required
  • Supporting EverCommerce M&A activities though operational integrations
  • Supporting EverCommerce accounting operations as needed including billing process migration support, controls implementation, and audit requests

Requirements:
  • Experience supporting/partnering with operational leaders, i.e. CEO, General Managers in the technology sector; SaaS experience a strong positive
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in reporting, budgeting, and/or managing financial close and accounting staff in a public company
  • Solid understanding of GAAP, specifically revenue recognition, internal controls, and cash to GAAP conversions
  • Experience managing billing processes and systems
  • Excellent Excel skills and experience with ERP and billing systems; revenue management and CRM systems a positive (NetSuite, OneStream, and Salesforce preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills - written and oral
  • Ability to manage multiple functions at once

Compensation: The target base for this role is $150-160k, plus applicable bonus, in Denver and most remote areas. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
