Job Description Summary
The Evaluation Coordinator supports the reporting and data collection functions of the Evaluation and Assessment Office. The coordinator assists with managing the student course and faculty evaluation process, which starts at assigning evaluations to students and ends with generating the standard course reports. Additionally, the coordinator assists with managing faculty affairs projects/programs, which includes (a) data collection in service of faculty research/teaching award administration, departmental faculty survey administration, and faculty searches (e.g., chair) and (b) managing data requests/inquiries related to the teaching records of faculty, including educational dossiers for faculty promotion. The coordinator has frequent interactions with faculty and staff within the medical school (e.g., Curriculum and Registrar Office) as well staff and faculty within the larger PSOM community (e.g., Academic Affairs Office).

The Evaluation Coordinator supports the reporting and data collection functions of the Evaluation and Assessment Office. The coordinator has frequent interactions with faculty and staff within the medical school (e.g., Curriculum and Registrar Office) as well staff and faculty within the larger PSOM community (e.g., Academic Affairs Office).
The coordinator assists with managing the student evaluation and course reporting process. The evaluation delivery process involves verifying the accuracy of instructors scheduled for lectures/labs/small groups by coordinating with the Curriculum and Registrar's Office, assigning evaluations to students according to the schedule, and making adjustments/corrections in a timely manner to evaluation assignments when the schedule changes. The evaluation reporting process involves monitoring student evaluation submission rates, performing accuracy audits on the collected evaluation data, and creating standard course reports. The following activities involve using data collection and organizing/analysis software (i.e., OASIS, Business Objects, and Microsoft Excel). The coordinator also assists with managing faculty affairs projects/programs. Additional duties involve coordinating school-wide data collection for annual surveys distributed by medical education program accrediting bodies and directories (e.g., LCME, US News, and Peterson's) and data entry regarding student exam grades (e.g., OSCE and CSI scores) and benchmarking surveys (AAMC graduate student survey).
The coordinator also assists with faculty affairs by facilitating data collection for various programs/projects/offices. This involves collecting, organizing, and reviewing (a) the teaching dossiers and supporting materials submitted for teaching and research award nominated candidates and for promotion/reappointment packets, (b) the feedback and ratings provided by faculty search committees, and (c) the ratings and comments provided in departmental faculty surveys. The following activities involve using data collection software (i.e., Qualtrics) as well as data organizing/analysis software and interacting with the Academic Affairs Office. In addition, the coordinator also responds to reported discrepancies and submitted inquiries about faculty teaching records from administrators/coordinators and faculty.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree with 3-5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Intermediate-level skills with Microsoft Excel and Qualtrics is required.

Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and grade profile.
