ETL Developer

Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Business Technology (NBT)is seeking qualified applicants for the position ofETL Developer. This position is responsible for the design, development, testing, debugging, and optimization of ETL to support Nucor's data integration environment. This role will establish, inspect, and enforce ETL standards as well as define ETL architecture on new data requests. This position will be required to perform maintenance and remediation of data transformation environments outside of normal work hours when necessary.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Uses different data warehousing concepts to maintain data warehouse
• Leads the design of the logical data model and implements the physical database structure and constructs and implements operational data stores and data marts.
• Designdevelop, automate, and support complex applications to extract, transform, and load data.
• Translates data access, transformation, and movement requirements into functional requirements and mapping designs.
• Works closely with infrastructure DBA's and systems administrators to release changes into production environments.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2+ years of data integration development using ETL methodology, workflow and scheduling
• 2+ years experience with Data Warehousing population tools such as Informatica, Talend, or SSIS
• Understanding of data modeling and database design principles
• Experience using deployment frameworks to promote artifacts from development to production

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields
• Experience with Azure DevOps and Agile Project Methodology
• Experience using INFORMATICA Intelligent Cloud Solutions or PowerCenter
• 2+ years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL development
