Position Summary:

The eDiscovery Technology Analyst is an expert on the technology and tools used to support eDiscovery, litigation, and data privacy matters. You will be responsible for identifying, preserving, collecting, and processing electronically stored information. This will be accomplished by following company directives and policies while ensuring full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Forensics & eDiscovery team and act as a liaison with in-house/outside counsel, and eDiscovery vendors regarding technical aspects of eDiscovery
  • Assist in developing, documenting, and refining necessary procedures to accomplish eDiscovery process requirements
  • Troubleshoot clients' technical questions and application support of eDiscovery tools, such as Nuix
  • Support and maintain the eDiscovery applications and tools including patching, installing application releases, patches, and bug fixes
  • Determine and execute requirements for the collection, processing, transferring, loading and production of ESI as requested by Zoetis Legal
  • Operate as part of the Information Security Team with primary responsibilities related to Digital Forensics, eDiscovery, Threat Intelligence, and Security Operations
  • Become proficient in the operation and use of all Information Security systems, specifically in support of API and application specific custom programming
  • Develop and maintain tools (scripts, workflows, macros, etc.) to aid in support of the team's processes and systems
  • On occasion, be required to represent Information Security during business meetings and/or red team sessions
  • Articulate and discuss technical issues with both technicians and non-technical client
  • Compose and present material to communicate difficult concepts and gain consensus

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • 5+ years of experience working with the Electronic Discovery Reference model (EDRM) following standard operating procedures
  • 3+ years of progressively increasing responsibility in an information technology environment with emphasis on information security or information privacy
  • Hands-on experience with performing data preservation, collection, and processing across multiple ESI sources while utilizing Nuix
  • Experience maintaining Elastic Stack
  • Participation in information security industry forums or other information security organizations

Knowledge, Skills, Ability Requirements:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, as well as other project management and time tracking tools
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and work in an unstructured environment
  • Solid fundamental computer operational skills
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence through personal credibility, integrity, and professionalism
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of Project Management methodologies
  • Applies extensive information technology and manufacturing specific expertise to role
  • Continuous Improvement methodologies
  • Ability to foster collaborative decision making
  • Capable of working both independently and as a team member
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is a must
  • Experience managing global partners and vendors
