The Director of Global Innerwear Initiatives will lead key cross-functional initiatives that enable the Hanesbrands Full Potential Transformation. The role will support the Group President of Global Innerwear, the VP of Global Innerwear Strategy & Business Development, the Innerwear Growth Team General Managers, and Regional Leaders. The role requires managing within a matrixed organization to achieve project deliverables in a timely manner and identifying/improving process bottlenecks and overall organizational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Initiatives
    • Refine the scope and lead key initiatives that support the Annual Operating Plan, Long-Range Plan, and Full Potential Transformation
    • Populate and track a monthly scorecard, working in conjunction with Finance and IT, to track attainment of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) aligned to the Annual Operating Plan
    • Lead and coordinate organizational optimization, process improvement, and cost reduction opportunities
    • Build analytical models to identify organic and inorganic growth opportunities
  • Annual planning
    • Support Growth Teams with analytical support as part of the Annual Planning Process
  • Innovation and Insights
    • Support the identification of category "white space" opportunities
    • Assess the marketplace for growth opportunities
    • Monitor competitor trends and define actions to defend against competitor actions
  • Business Development
    • Assist M&A projects, including identification of targets, outreach, due diligence, and integration, as applicable
    • Support portfolio analyses and divestiture execution, as applicable

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of Management Consulting experience (post-MBA) OR Minimum of 5 years of Management Consulting experience without an MBA
  • Bachelor Degree required, preferably in a quantitatively-oriented field of study (Math, Science, Economics, or Business)
  • Strong analytical ability required
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel required, including ability to create/audit complex formulas, shortcuts, and macros
  • Must have an ability to synthesize findings clearly and succinctly in an executive-level report (PPT and Word formats)
  • Must have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Must have excellent people management, influencing, and leadership skills
  • Must be self-motivated, tenacious, and able to successfully navigate through ambiguity
