The Jewish Board's Community Behavioral Health treatment programs provide compassionate, high quality, evidence-based services to individuals and families in the communities we serve. Our staff use a culturally affirming, person-centered approach to help individuals and their families develop skills and resources to improve overall functioning, to instill hope, and to strengthen resiliency. Our programs work closely with community partners to address health disparities in our neighborhoods while also celebrating the strengths and resiliency of our communities.
POSITION OVERVIEW:

The program director, reporting in to the Deputy Chief Operating Officer, is responsible for the clinical, operational, fiscal and administrative oversight of the One Call Unit Program. The One Call Unit is designed to be the central scheduling and registration unit for those seeking services from The Jewish Board. Currently, the program directly supports JB Clinics and PROS outpatient, behavioral health programs in this way. Over the next two years, the program director will play a key role as the One Call Unit expands to support all Jewish Board Programs. They will be responsible for working with program and administrative leadership to build out the expansion while working to ensure the expansion improves quality of care and increases access to services for clients. Additionally, the program director will provide on-going supervision to all program staff including assigned supervisory, clinical, and administrative staff. They also insures that quality services, in line with City, State and JBFCS mandates, are uniformly provided and They monitors operations to certify that best-practice methodologies are uniformly employed, reviewed and updated as necessary. They also maintains relationships with all JB programs, various city and regulatory bodies while cultivating additional resources and relationships with community organizations for purposes of referral and collaboration.


KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provides overall administrative leadership and management for the program.
  • Ensures that programmatic systems are in place and functioning to meet client service needs and safety.
  • Provides regularly scheduled supervision to all supervisees.
  • Oversees and ensures the quality of service(s) for clients.
  • Assures clinical, administrative and regulatory compliance in all program areas.
  • Collaborates with agency and program leadership on the development and expansion of services provided to clients.
  • Evaluates supervisees and ensures timeliness of all staff evaluations.
  • Ensures that internal JBFCS and external regulatory agency standards and requirements are met.
  • Develops and implements projects in line with program development and expansion.
  • Ensures intra-program collaboration and inter-agency collaboration.
  • Provides coverage, as needed.
  • Reviews chart documentation; ensures that documentation meets regulatory requirements.
  • Manages and adheres to program budgets, meeting contract targets and monitoring expenses.
  • Active management of the pre-admit process across all agency programs.
  • Ensures that the safety and service needs of clients and families are met.
  • Responsible for community outreach efforts with other groups, individuals or organizations for purposes of maintaining and/or expanding census and collaborating to ensure that client needs are being addressed
  • Responsible for risk management, including identifying, addressing and tracking high risk clients and program operations
  • Interviews and hires staff, as well as addresses staff performance-related issues in accordance with JBFCS Policy & Procedure.
  • Collaborates with JB training department to arrange for staff training to ensure staff are able to successfully serve clients as defined by agency mission and according to client needs
  • Facilitates program staff meetings and case conferences
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

EDUCATIONAL / TRAINING REQUIRED:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Business Administration or related fields required

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED / LANGUAGE PREFERENCE:

  • Strong administrative, writing and computer skills are required.
  • Three years of administrative and/or supervisory experience in a human services setting required.
  • Experience in Call Center Operation/Leadership preferred.
  • Experience in QA/QI and compliance a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team and in collaboration with agency leadership to ensure delivery of a high quality of service.
