RESPONSIBILITIES:

A Kforce client is seeking a part time Desktop Support in Cambridge, MA.Duties Include:
  • Desktop Support will provide technical support to end-users for Microsoft O365 applications, and third-party software packages
  • Perform user onboarding (PC builds) and related setup tasks, Imaging and encryption of laboratory desktop computers and laptops
  • Maintain computer life cycle management activities, hardware and software installation, maintenance, upgrades, service, support, and inventory tracking
  • Maintain system configurations to ensure the integrity of individual systems and the overall network
  • Complete computer diagnostic and troubleshooting processes to resolve local network, hardware (Switches/Routers/AP's) and software issues
  • As a Desktop Support, you will assist Senior IT Coordinator with local network administration tasks
  • Resolve incidents and requests for employees via our ticketing system


REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum 2+ years of hands-on IT desktop Support experience supporting Microsoft O365/Azure required; Windows 10, Windows Server, O365 a must
  • Certification or degree in a relevant field or a satisfactory combination of education, training and/or experience
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management skills and a strong work ethic required
  • Strong reading, writing, comprehension, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Working experience managing users in Active Directory and or Azure AD required
  • Certification: CompTIA A+ or MCSA: Office 365 preferred
  • Working knowledge and or hands on experiences with Intune MDM/Autopilot, RMM's a plus
  • SharePoint User Administration, Support SSO (CyberArk) Endpoint protection, Backup/Recovery software, Patch management, PowerShell a plus


The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
