- Oversee all activities pertaining to concrete preparation, placement, installation, finishing, and curing.
- Arrive on the job site before start time and ensure crew is on time, properly attired and fit for work
- Walk the job site with all concrete crew members prior to the start of a job
- Ensure the site and equipment are appropriately stocked and maintain general upkeep of site in safe and clean manner
- Train new workers in the use of equipment/tools, assign tasks and set goals to all crew members
- Monitor work performance and productivity of crew members and subcontractors to ensure customer specifications, procedures, safety requirements, etc. are maintained.
- Supervise total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule.
- Maintain relationships with Project/Property Managers, Site Supervisors, Client Representatives and other contractors
- Advise superintendents and/or project management of potential problems, work interferences, schedule difficulties, etc.; assist in resolving such problems as required.
- Plan and prepare for the following work day and week in advance and assure that resources are available
- Maintain accurate time and daily reports and complete client paperwork as required
- Must submit data daily to supervisors
- Follows company policies and procedures and enforces safety regulations
- Exercise proper care, maintenance and operation of company equipment
- Works harmoniously, cooperatively and courteously with others at all times
- Must maintain training requirements and keep up with all operator qualifications (OQ?s)
- Performs trade and miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as required
