Our client is a civil construction company that has been in operation in the Californian market for over 100 years. They are a full-service civil firm who have offices all over California and self-perform utilities, paving, grading, sitework, concrete for public and private projects. They have multiple different division including heavy highway, concrete & materials, solar & energy and residential. Projects range from $1Mill up to $100Mill.

Your new role
As Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the project costing, safety, scheduling, budget and overall management of the day-to-day operations of the site. You will also help grow and develop junior project engineers and managers. You will work with the pre-construction team on bids and will then be responsible for the management of the project till completion. You will be required to communicate with sub-trades, consultants, engineers and client representatives.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you possess a minimum 7years' experience as a Project Manager in the civil construction industry and hold either a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree. You will come from a heavy civil background and have experience on working on utility highway, bridge or concrete projects. You will also possess excellent leadership qualities and are able to lead on any given project or task.
