Our client is a heavy civil contractor who has been in industry for over 40 years and have offices in California and Arizona. The specialize in the heavy civil sector and self-perform airport, highway, bridges, railway, and water infrastructure projects. They have the capacity of manage projects up to $500Mill and have a solid pipeline of backlogged work or the next 5 years. Due to increased project growth they are looking for experienced project managers and project engineers to join the team in multiple locations across California and Arizona.

Your new role
Due to increased project load in their heavy civil division they are looking to add an experienced project manager to the team. As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the project costing, safety, scheduling, budget and overall management of the day to day operations of the site. Successfully bid projects will be passed on to you from the pre-construction team, you will then communicate and manage the project, liaising with sub-trades, consultants, engineers and client representatives.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you possess a minimum 5 years' experience as a Project Manager in the civil construction industry and hold either a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree. You will come from a heavy civil background and have experience on working on highway, bridge or aviation projects. You will have excellent computer skills along with the ability to work under pressure. You will possess excellent leadership qualities and are able to lead on any given project or task.
