Responsibilities

Leads and oversees electronic applications including credit cards, debit cards, card services, payment services, wire transfers, international wire transfers, bill payment, and shared branches. The position establishes programs to support, mentor and develop employees.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Manages electronic services applications such as credit cards, debit cards, card services, transfer services, payment services, wires, bill payer, and shared branching. This includes product development, product and service enhancements, market and competitive analysis, and delivery of member experience.
  • Oversee operations for service quality, ensuring all electronic services are delivered within established quality standards.
  • Oversee and administer Advancial Rewards program. Serve as main point of contact with loyalty program provider for ongoing vendor management including but not limited to day-to-day vendor issues and performance standards, implementation of program enhancements, and contract negotiations and due diligence.
  • Manage workflow and scheduling in order to meet processing deadlines and optimize funds availability in order to meet member and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the processing of automatic clearing house (ACH), credit and debit cards, payments, transfers, wires, bill payer, and shared branching exception reports to ensure accurately and timely resolution. Analyzes productivity and transaction trends using Credit Union reports and makes recommendations to improve performance.
  • Develop procedures and reporting tools for effective information and decision-making; analyzes productivity and transaction trends using reports. Ensures policy and procedures are maintained and updated as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Audit Department and ensure necessary information is provided for internal and external audits, regulatory monitoring, and all other required reporting.
  • Provide leadership to the department and establishes programs to support, mentor and develop employees. In Collaboration with HR, hires, coaches, evaluates and disciplines staff. Directs employee training to improve efficiency and ensure conformance with standard procedures and practices. Delegates duties to maximize member service.
  • Manage vendor relationships with business partners and service providers to assure their performance meets Credit Union service expectations and supports strategic goals. Ensure vendors are paid in accordance to contract terms and accounts are balanced and reconciled to appropriate general ledgers on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Develop and maintain training materials on the Credit Union's electronic services. Trains members and Credit Union staff to use the services.

The salary range for this position is $68,000 - $85,000/yr. and based on experience.

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor degree or equivalent from four-year college or university; seven years related experience including three years supervisory experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Directly supervises employees in the Access Services Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
