Position Profile

The Billing and Collections Specialist will manage the complete revenue cycle for our home-based primary care practice; functions include billing, collections, statements, refunds and accounts receivable maintenance.

Responsibilities
  • Reviews superbills and processes charges daily for assigned payers or alpha split.
  • Assures timely collection of unpaid claims from assigned payors.
  • Process patient statements and collect responsible party balances.
  • Assures accurate data entry of payments and adjustments to patient accounts.
  • Communicates with internal and external customers in a professional and timely manner.
  • Adheres to high standards of personal and professional conduct.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED certificate.
  • Minimum three-year healthcare billing and collections experience.
