Bellbrook is seeking aMaintenance Techfor its community in Rochester Hills, MI. Shift: 11am - 7pm

General Responsibilities:

To maintain the grounds, community, equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, policies and procedures

Receive and follow maintenance schedule/instructions as outlined in established maintenance policies and procedures. General maintenance throughout community may include: basic plumbing (installing faucets, repairs, drains, etc), basic electrical, HVAC, perform repair on community equipment and kitchen equipment. Painting and refinish of furniture and fixtures as assigned. Floor Care including vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing and disinfecting, etc. Calibrate thermostats and other minor pneumatic equipment and repairs. Operates and tests generator and performs preventive maintenance as assigned.

May be asked to transport residents in a company vehicle to and from appointments, shopping, etc.

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED

Previous experience working in assisted living or with the geriatric population preferred
