Area Manager reporting to the overall project Construction Manager.

Project estimating, forecasting and management of budgets

Ability to prioritize, develop and maintain project schedules

Document control management (RFIs, submittals, change orders, claims, etc.)

Safety management

Quality Control / Quality Assurance checks

Coordination and management of subcontractors' work

Contract and change order management

Track weekly construction progress

Resolution of problems involving labor disputes, material delivery, and contract administration

Responsible for the delivery of project discipline scope elements within budget and schedule.

Oversees completeness and accuracy of project team's work. Supervises and guides team to overall project objectives

Provides senior-level technical expertise to the client on project aspects within the discipline.

Assists with project management duties

Performs other duties as assigned

Manage subcontractor's work

Assist project management with administrative operations

Cost control on projects and quality control within the discipline

Planning, design and construction phases of projects

Completeness and accuracy of design team work

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree
  • Previous project management experience (8+ years) including management/oversight of project profit and loss and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working with customers and leading customer interactions.
  • Experience in large civil construction work
  • Familiarity with industry-related computer software and hardware.
  • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) desired
