We are currently accepting resumes for the role of Application Administrator I at Holman Manufacturing & Distribution.

This position has been approved for 100% remote work.

Holman Manufacturing and Distribution encompasses upfitting, manufacturing and, the distribution side of the Holman house. We upfit vehicles, manufacture and engineer parts, and distribute Ford, Chrysler, and GM powertrain across the United States. We are integrated into the Holman Fleet & Mobility (ARI) supply chain.

What will you do?

  • Support third-party and internally written applications.
  • Support application updates following established procedures.
  • Install application patches following established procedures.
  • Troubleshoot, identify, and solve technical problems.
  • Interface with users, vendors, developers, and infrastructure teams to ensure timely problem resolution.
  • Maintain system/application documentation and operational procedures.
  • Monitor and manage application availability, capacity, and performance.
  • Review all alerts for accuracy and take steps to remediate the issue.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting/debugging and supporting end user issues related to our systems/applications.
  • Support developers by testing changes.

Knowledge and Skill:
  • A motivated self-starter that is able to work independently and in teams on tasks and projects with limited supervision.
  • Strong ability to grasp issues quickly
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on the ability to communicate technical issues to a diverse non-technical audience, provides regular updates on progress of assignments to users and management on all projects and cases assigned.
  • Strong ability to organize assignments and work efforts to meet schedules and deadlines.
  • Analytical skills for effective problem solving and trouble shooting.

Education and/or Training
  • Associates degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred

Relevant Work Experience
  • +2 years' experience supporting IT systems/applications is preferred.
  • Prior experience supporting ERP systems such as Dynamics AX 2012 is a plus.
  • Prior experience in the manufacturing or distribution industry is a plus.
